Pets

No pets allowed. Exceptions may be made under certain circumstances – please contact us directly when booking.

Cleaning

Our villas are self contained accommodation and we are a small, family run business. As such we ask kindly that, within reason, the villas are returned to the state in which they were found in (i.e. dishes cleaned, kitchen wiped down, furniture and room contents in their place; don’t worry about the bed). Please note that we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of up to $200 should we deem it necessary based on the above mentioned. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Children

No children aged 2-15yrs
Infants aged 0-2yrs allowed on request
For infants using existing bedding, there is no extra cost
A baby cot is available on request for $30 per night

Cancellations

We are a small boutique property and cancellations have a significant impact on our business.
Standard Rate:
  • 100% refundable if canceled 14 or more days before the stay.
  • 0% refundable if canceled less than 14 days before the stay
  • 0% refundable if it’s a ‘no-show.’
Flexible Advanced Booking:
  • 100% refundable if canceled 30 or more days before the stay.
  • 50% refundable if canceled between 14 and 30 days before the stay.
  • 0% refundable if canceled less than 14 days before the stay
  • 0% refundable if it’s a ‘no-show.’
Advanced Purchase (Non-Refundable):
A 100% cancellation fee of the total booking cost will be applied in the event of a cancellation, with no refunds or credits issued.
 

Postponements

Please note that any postponements made 14 days or less prior to the scheduled check-in date may be subject to a charge of up to the full accommodation fee. We remain committed to providing exceptional service and flexibility, and we will assess each postponement request on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration extenuating circumstances.

We kindly ask for your understanding as a postponement has the same net effect for us as a cancellation, as it is unlikely for us to fill the vacancy last minute.

Visitors

To uphold the tranquil atmosphere of La Rocher Retreat and ensure the comfort of all guests, visitors are permitted only through prior arrangement. If you plan to have guests during your stay, kindly inform our team in advance. This allows us to manage the number of individuals on the property, maintaining the peaceful environment that defines La Rocher Retreat.

Damages

Guests are responsible for any damages and La Rocher Eco Retreat accepts no responsibility for property. 
However, we understand that accidents happen. Should you break anything please let us know – if it’s minor, we usually won’t charge. If it’s a larger issue (e.g. appliances/electronics, furniture, buildings, ect.) we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issue later.

Payments

Payment can be made via Amex, Visa or Mastercard or via direct bank transfer
A 10% deposit is required at the time of booking
The balance of the accommodation fee is due 14 days before check-in date
A surcharge of 2% applies to all credit card payments

Bedding Configuration

The property has 4 villas with one king bed and one sofa bed each per villa

Pool and Hot Tub

Pool and hot tub area is open 24/7
Hot tub is heated only during winter months (Apr – September) and specifically by request only. This is an eco initiative to minimize energy usage and avoid unnecessary usage if not occupied.

No Smoking

All villas are non-smoking. Designated smoking areas can be found around the property – please talk to us directly to locate these. A deep cleaning fee of up to $500 will be charged to any guest or their visitors who smoke within the villa (including the deck).
