FAQ
Do you have a food shop on-site?
No. There is a small supermarket in Uki, 5min drive away. Otherwise, Murwillumbah (20min away) has all you need, with a Coles and IGA. However, you can preorder fresh pasta or a graze hamper when you book with us. For more details, head to our extras.
Can I buy a gift voucher for someone else?
Yes! A gift voucher is an excellent gift idea. You can either purchase a voucher for a stay (2 nights), or you can have a voucher for a certain amount. Contact us directly to get it sorted.
Can I book a massage in my villa?
Yes. We can have a massage therapist come to your villa for a Swedish, Remedial or Deep Tissue massage. You can choose from a 1 hour massage for one person, or for both of you (2 hours in total, massages to take place one after the other). This needs to be booked at the time of booking, so that we can organise it. Contact us directly to book it in!
How many guests can sleep in a villa?
Our villas have a king size bed and a pull-out sofa bed. As such, up to 4 guests can sleep in one villa. We would recommend no more than 2 adults, as the pull-out sofa bed is more suited to children. Your rate is inclusive of two guests, any additional guest will incure a extra rate.
Are you pet friendly?
Unfortunately our development approval from the local Shire was conditional on the retreat not allowing pets. This is aimed and protecting local fauna. We are a pet loving family and there are two very friendly dogs on the property, Bailey and Bella who you can adopt for the weekend. They offer free hugs and cuddles but have been told that they cannot sneak into any of the villas!
Can I bring my children?
The retreat has been designed to provide a special place for couples to get away, connect, celebrate special occasions with each other and relax. We want all our guests to share the peace and tranquility of the place and the property is thus suited more for adults.
Under special circumstances we may permit children to share with parents (eg families travelling interstate or from abroad with mature and quiet children), but only on request and approval at time of booking. Arrival with children without prior request may result in the stay being declined without a refund.
